Bed bugs are taking over.  Movie theaters, offices, stores, and homes.  This epidemic is causing worry and concern everywhere.

What should we be doing about it?  Most of us just call an exterminator, and let him spray something powerful and noxious in our homes and on our furniture to get rid of them.

The EPA does not agree.

The EPA warns that, “Using the wrong pesticide or using it incorrectly to treat for bedbugs can make you, your family, and your pets sick and can also make your home unsafe to live in — and may not solve the bedbug problem.”

So – what’s the solution?

The EPA suggests, “Prevention and non-chemical treatment of infestations is the best way to avoid or eliminate a bedbug problem.”

Why do they suggest non-chemical treatments?   It’s because these little bloodsuckers are immune to most chemicals.  They were wiped out by toxic DDT over 40 years ago, and are back with a strong resistance.   What’s even worse is that studies are linking chemical pesticides to a whole host of health problems in our kids and pets from cancer to ADHD.

There is hope.  A life after chemicals.  We are slowly turning the tide against them with a powerful, natural, non-toxic solution.  The same stuff that preserved the mummies we see in the Brooklyn Museum actually kills bedbugs 100% on contact.  And the little eggs too.   The secret ingredient: cedar oil.  Nature’s bed bug killer.

The best news: cedar oil is beneficial for our environment, and to our well-being.  Kills bed bugs, and a host of other pests, while leaving our homes smelling wonderful.  As a routine preventative measure, we treat our client’s homes with our special cedar oil formulation, and have discreetly and successfully treated infestations.

Call us to be sure the bed bugs don’t bite here in Brooklyn.
